The sample leveller is used to set sample to give best performance when hardness tster.  The Jig can be adjsuted to suit 30mm to 40mm round sample mounted in a metallurgical mounting press. The specimen table allows the sample to be clamped down, allowing the samples surface to become parallel with the indenter .

    A good sample holder keeps your specimen stationary and provides support during testing. This sample holders also levels tapered samples with floating base to ensure that the test surface is perfectly perpendicular to the indenter. This ensures an accurate and problem free execution the hardness test.

    Please note that this specimen table cannot be used with automatic hardness testers.  Other options are available.
