Refurbished Nikon Metaphot

The Nikon Metaphot microscope is suitable for most applications in brightfield and reflected light metallurgical microscopy. Whilst we are not entirely sure of the age of this particular microscope, or its history, we believe it is probably from the mid 1980's. Nikon in the 1980's and early 1990's were building this very robust frame that was rock solid. This microscope and others like it from that era were some of the most rugged and durable instruments ever produced for metallurgical inspection.
