The Mitutoyo AAV504 offers full automatic Vickers hardness testing allowing a load range of 1 kg to 50 kg. All operations required in Vickers and Knoop hardness tests such as loading, turret indexing, focusing, indentation measurement, and measurement position movement are fully computer controlled in the automatic mode. This allows for complex hardness routines to be carried out with little operator intervention freeing up skilled technicians to perform and manage other tasks. Automatic focus and measurement is carried out in less than one second offering the advantage of increased productivity and measurement accuracy. All systems are supported by UK based application and support engineers.
