The MDX503 is a 5 megapixel digital camera that directly mounts to the C-Mount adapter on the trinocular port of your microscope to your computer via USB 2.0 . Ideal for use in any laboratory, offering superior image quality and colour reproduction. The MCX range of microscope cameras are used in material science and semi-conductor applications for documenting and archiving of microscopic work.

  • The MDX503 5 megapixel camera utilizes the ON Semiconductor MT9P031 1/2.5-inch CMOS active-pixel digital image sensor, with an active imaging pixel array of 2592H x 1944V. It incorporates sophisticated camera functions on-chip such as windowing, column and row skip mode, and snapshot mode. It is programmable through a simple two-wire serial interface. Featuring ON Semiconductor’s breakthrough low-noise CMOS imaging technology that achieves CCD image quality (based on signal-to-noise ratio and low-light sensitivity) while maintaining the inherent size, cost, and integration advantages of CMOS
